The ManBible Eighth Truth of Life

Section VIII - A Man Must Pick his Battles Wisely
MBC3V1S8L0

Sometimes to win a fight a man must not fight at all. Men often lose conflicts with women through discussion and argument. Even when a man takes what appears to be a winning strategy, he loses in reduced sexual encounters, built up animosity, general frustration and finally a diminished quality of life. Women can make a life hell for a man who picks his battles unwisely.

When a mans's goal is Quiet Enjoyment (QE) in life, the fights worth having are the ones that only matter the most. Most battles with women are counterproductive, and only when a woman is naked in bed or happy is the battle truly won. Arguments concerning such things as food, art placement, movie selection, where to park the car, or furniture color are irrelevant and should be ignored at all cost.

Quite Enjoyment (QE) - A state in life where a man maintains good standing with a woman of interest. The result is enjoyment of personal time without a dark cloud of unresolved anger and frustration looming overhead.

Arguing about trivial matters of no useful consequence reduces the chance of quite enjoyment and good outcomes. The ManBible recognizes this as The Eighth ManBible Truth: A man must pick his battles wisely (MBT8 - PBW). Knowing when to engage and when to concede will create more enjoyable moments in life and increase a man’s QE. Letting go of the need to dominate and win secondary concerns is key to wisely picking battles to fight. Be nice until it is time not to be nice. (Road House 1989).

Fighting with women is a sorted affair with generally negative results. Women remember and catalog their grievances, and they are more prepared to argue a point. Women are generally smarter than men. Men are usually unprepared or unwilling to go where women go to win the argument or fight. Women know just what to say to get the most negative effect. (Sam Kinison).

Only when the fight concerns core values or choices in life should a man engage a woman. The ManBible recommends men should avoid battles unless they go to Fundamental Issues of Pride (FIP). FIPs are worth protection because they set the foundation in men for success with women. A man who cedes FIPs will ultimately find the relationship a failure through eventually rejection and breakup. As the main goal with women is sexual relations and eventual sex, unless an argument gets a man laid he should drop it.

Fundamental Issues of Pride (FIP)
(Worth Fighting For)

1) Bond with friends
2) Performance in bed
3) Family
4) Goals and aspirations in life
5) Street safety

The best way to win a fight with a woman of interest is to not fight at all.
